Growing up on a farm, I was surrounded by the most beautiful wildflower and perennial gardens hidden to country neighbors by a large, wooded grove. You could always find me in the woods making forts out of sticks, searching for distinctive rocks and collecting natural treasures like feathers, arrowheads and dried flora. I learned early on what it means to be present in each season and take in what mother nature has to offer us. In the fall I heard my dad’s elk bugle as I watched the leaves change golden hues, watched dust accumulate in the air from corn being harvested and gathered any remaining vegetables from the garden to preserve for the winter ahead. In the spring, I’d watch the snow drip from the trees as young buds began to force themselves to the sun just as I did laying outside making one last snow angel. Focusing on my imaginative and colorful childhood, I take a wild, natural and playful approach to my floral designs.

Vandeline’s Floral Studio started as a lengthy dream and has since developed into a quaint studio where I intentionally design artful, whimsical and natural floral arrangements for weddings, gatherings and creatives endeavors for all seasons of life. Vandeline’s is a no foam floral studio and believes in reducing our carbon footprint as much as possible by favoring local flowers, growing our own flowers and foraging respectfully.

When I’m not in the studio, you can find me enjoying the outdoors, listening to indie folk music, sipping an americano and spending time with my two closest pals, Michael (my husband) and Benny (my golden retriever). I am on open book and want nothing more than to provide pure honesty, trust and kindness to my family, friends and clients.
